APIS & AUTOMATION AGENCYSystems that don’t communicate with one another cost time every day.
PIM, ERP, CRM, marketing tools and websites. pechschwarz® builds the connections that turn isolated systems into a functioning infrastructure.
Over 500 leading brands rely on our API and automation agency
WHY APIS & AUTOMATION?
Anyone who copies data between four systems does not have a tool problem. They have an infrastructure problem.
Many growing businesses use CRM, PIM, ERP, a website and half a dozen marketing tools. Each system does what it was built to do, but none of them communicate with the others. The result is data transferred manually, product information that’s never in sync, and processes that become increasingly fragile with every step of growth. pechschwarz® builds the connections that put an end to the chaos. Custom APIs, webhooks, middleware and workflow automations ensure that data flows rather than gets blocked, allowing teams to focus on what really matters.

PIM integration
Manage product data centrally and automatically publish it to the website, online shop and catalogues. Akeneo, Pimcore or a bespoke solution.
:quality(80):format(webp))
ERP & CRM integration
SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Salesforce. Bidirectional synchronisation, clearly documented.
:quality(80):format(webp))
Custom API development
REST and GraphQL APIs. Versioned, documented and built for scalability, not for the next sprint.
:quality(80):format(webp))
Headless architecture
Front-end and back-end are neatly decoupled. The CMS, online shop or app can be further developed independently.
:quality(80):format(webp))
Workflow automation
Data synchronisation, content delivery, order workflows. Anything that’s repetitive runs automatically.

AI integration
Chatbots, product recommendations, intelligent search. Based on your data, not on standard models.
CHECK POTENTIAL
Which of your processes are still carried out manually?
Most teams underestimate just how many recurring tasks can be automated once the systems are able to communicate with one another. In our free system audit, we analyse your current infrastructure and show you where automation will have the greatest impact.

Success stories
This is how a sharp brand strategy works in practice.
Our process
From system audit to day-to-day infrastructure.
System audit
We carry out a review of all systems, interfaces and manual processes. We identify gaps and prioritise them according to their impact.
Architecture & API Design
The data model, API structure and integration architecture are planned before any code is written. A solid foundation for seamless scalability.
Development
APIs, middleware and integrations are implemented in agile sprints. Iteratively, transparently and with clear milestones.
Testing with real data
Integrations are tested using real data sets, not just demo sets. Edge cases, error handling and fallbacks are standard practice.
Go-Live & Monitoring
A smooth roll-out with monitoring from day one. We spot problems before your team even realises they’re there.
Maintenance & Further Development
APIs are constantly evolving. New requirements, new systems, new versions. We continue to develop alongside you, rather than disappearing after the launch.
Our strengths as an APIs & Automation agency
Business logic before code
An API is only as good as the business understanding behind it. We think in terms of processes before we think of interfaces.
UX in the backend too
Internal tools and dashboards deserve just as good a user experience as end-user products. Usability is not just a front-end privilege.
Well documented
Code that only its author understands is a risk. Every API comes with documentation that other teams can understand.
Built to be scalable
Versioning, caching, rate limiting. What can handle 1,000 requests today will be able to handle 100,000 tomorrow.
Headless-First
Front-end and back-end are decoupled. Maximum flexibility for any future expansion.
Long-term infrastructure partner
An API is not a project with a delivery date. We support its maintenance, expansion and further development over many years.

Questions on APIs and automation
API stands for Application Programming Interface. It is a defined interface through which software systems can communicate with one another. APIs enable data exchange, function calls and automation between different applications.
Workflow automation refers to the automatic execution of business processes without manual intervention. Classic examples include the synchronisation of product data between the PIM and the online shop, the transfer of leads from forms to the CRM, or the initiation of order processes.
Whenever data has to be transferred manually between systems on a regular basis, integration is worthwhile. This is also the case when existing standard interfaces are insufficient or when specific business processes need to be mapped.
PIM stands for Product Information Management and refers to a centralised system for managing product data. Texts, images and attributes are distributed from the PIM to websites, online shops, catalogues and external platforms – update them once, and they’re up to date everywhere.
Essentially, any system with an open interface. Typical integrations include ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics, CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, PIM solutions, e-commerce systems, marketing automation tools and logistics providers.
An architecture in which the front-end and back-end are technically decoupled. The back-end provides data via APIs, whilst the front-end can be developed or replaced independently. This provides flexibility for future development and reduces technical dependencies.
A single connection usually takes two to four weeks. System connections involving several endpoints take four to eight weeks. Complete infrastructure projects involving multi-system integration take two to five months.
The costs depend on the complexity, the number of interfaces and the volume of data. A reliable estimate can only be provided following a system audit that assesses the existing infrastructure and the actual integration requirements.
APIs require ongoing maintenance, version updates, security patches and adjustments to meet changing requirements. Maintenance can either be carried out on a retainer basis or handed over to internal teams, provided there is clear documentation.
