Why this role is important

Today, social media serves as a stage, a platform for engagement and a driver of growth all at once. As a Social Art Director, you develop creative concepts for social content and campaigns, and ensure that content not only looks good but also makes an impact. You shape our clients’ visual identity and develop formats that make brands visible and relevant.

Your responsibilities

• Developing creative concepts for social media content and campaigns

• Design of social media content (posts, stories, reels, adverts)

• Consistency of visual concepts across different platforms

• Collaboration with Strategy, Content and Project Management

• Mentoring design and content teams

• Monitoring and interpreting current social and design trends

• Presenting ideas to clients and internally

Who you are

• 5+ years’ experience in social design or digital design

• at least 2 years’ experience as an Art Director or in a similar role

• a portfolio featuring strong campaigns and social projects

• proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma

• a good understanding of platform mechanics and social media formats

• very good German and good English

• a structured approach to work and clear communication

Crafts & Tools

You are confident in:

• Design & Motion Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)

• Design Systems Figma (Auto Layout, components, variants, prototyping)

• Social & Motion Animation and motion graphics for social media

• AI tools Tools for creative exploration (e.g. Midjourney, Runway, Krea) are welcome.
