Solution

The starting point was an in-depth analysis of the company and the competitive landscape, with the aim of precisely identifying positioning opportunities in the high-performance segment. On this strategic basis, a brand extension architecture was developed that enables the heavy-duty products to be presented as a distinct force in their own right.

At the heart of the creative process was the development of a visual identity for the ‘Extreme Power’ theme. This new visual language conveys the core attributes of power, robustness and technological superiority. In addition, a conceptual revamp was developed for the associated battery range to further strengthen the product line’s visual distinctiveness and ensure a coherent brand experience.

The result of this strategic and creative work is the development of a comprehensive campaign. It provides Makita with the tools to establish the ‘Extreme Power’ range in the market in a targeted manner and with maximum impact, whilst sustainably reinforcing the brand’s perception as a leading innovator in the professional sector.
